My old stomping ground. In Scotland there is a sealed bid system for buying houses.
Seems well cheap for the area and cash only might suggest it is either more knackered than they mention or it needs a change of use in which case it would be better burned down and replaced with executive housing.

so yeah sealed bids but more these dates closing dates and it isnt always highest price wins, but rather best buying position, as youll know its usually frowned upon in scotland to buy a house without first selling your own, although thats becoming less common these days too. The cash buying thing is probably because it doesnt have a functioning kitchen, therefore banks wont offer a mortgage for it in Scotland.Looked it up on google was bought by a previous euro millions winner for over £600,000. Shes now put it on the market.
