For a while I dated wall flowers. They too were rather dull, and not in the least controversial.

There's an old house near me whose owner makes a living by hiring it out for photo-shoots. The walls get repainted every evertime someone wants a particularl colour background. Wonder what future paint historians will make of the multiple layers.
