I used to drive past the old station and cinema quite regularly - shocking to see what has happened in just a few years.
All building work on the recently semi-demolished goods terminal in Shoreditch seems to have ground to a halt too . I though they were in a hurry to redevelop the site? I guess in practice it was just a dishonest ploy to forsall any conservation action. Hackney Council yet again presumably.
