Just got back from my summer holiday in a little hotel in menorca, and having got through my own holiday reading far too quickly, randomly picked up a book from their stock of discarded paperbacks. Gave me a huge laugh as I went through it as 'Practically Perfect' by Kate Fforde is a lovely little romantic tale about a young 'interior designer' doing up listed cottage who falls for very hunky conservation officer who also happens to be the homing officer for the local greyhound rescue. I am wondering, where did Kate get her inspiration? Having yet to meet our local CO I cannot begin to comment as to wheter they are romantic hero types (the male ones that is). Anybody dare comment? Is there a forumite who is actually Kate Fforde in disguise!! Visit Amazon for a more detailed book synopsis if you wish!
Anyway, am back to work today and needed to cheer myself up so thought I'd give you lot a giggle too.
