cost quickie question, underfloor heating

please can anyone give me an approx idea of the costs to install underfloor heating in a room, 20 m2, purely buying materials and laying it - workmen already there, boiler, new combi, in same room, floor already up, concrete laid (1980s, not us) new tiles to be paid for by insurance company, for which builder already there, so really materials and labour only. Any thoughts? Many many thanks!

60 m^2 of underfloor pipe, simple manifold (no mixing pump / bypass), clips, edge insulation was around £900 IIRC. Laying onto insulation took 4 of us about 6 hrs and was easy as the pattern was all worked out and laid out beforehand.

(hardboard sheet on right fully of holes was used to lay out the grid)

excuse my ignorance, but you literally lay the tubes out do you? i thought i'd seen it in kind of 'sheets' that join together? Just as well i'm not planning to do it myself eh?? Thnks for info and photo, thats about the costs i thought

There are different systems. The one we used involves clipping the pipes to the insulation (about 1000 of them I think)

I used a kit from Begetube http://www.begetube.co.uk/Design/Extension_Packs.html
The "solo B" kit costs under £500 and would probably do your job.
The People at Begetube were very helpful.

For 300m2 from Osma manifolds, insulation, pipe n all £10k inc vat.
