Morning
An observation - my local CO, doesn't seem to want to engage in conservations that I have tried to have with him on care of my listed building. I am new to the listed building game, and on a steep learning curve. Do they justify their salary in ways other than giving advice to owners ? I had an early conversation with him on the merits of carpet / rug / bare on very old floorboards, when he said that it's ok to nail gripperrods to the floorboards (a very foolish thing imo and I wouldn't entertain it) since then he has avoided me. I'm guessing that advice to owners is not in their job description. Perhaps I've stressed him out.
