hi, we are interested in buying a converted church that was built in 1933 and converted in 2005 to a residence. We are coming up with the £0 valuation problem and one of the reasons is the construction of the concrete roof with respect to 2 factors. The first is the use of aggregate rubble and the second we think is that there may be some asbestos included in it.
Does anybody have any info on this type of concrete roof.
The valuation report says that there is some visible 'distress' tet there are no leaks, fractures and movement. We have had a structural survey and the engineer says it is fine, how do we convince the valuer!!!
