Hi, brand new member here so apologies should anything like this having already been captured in previous posts…
Our house has some cob sections on the GF and we were looking to put a flower bed at the base of the wall. Upon digging out we found the cob not to have a stone foundation or any for that matter. Question is, should we/can we put a flower bed there?
Any advise appreciated. Area is currently laid with patio slabs. Having removed them for the bed, we also discovered a 4” concrete apron and we were wondering if this had been placed there to cap off/protect the cob wall from rainfall or if it is just the old base to a previous path?
