Cheese before bedtime?

The other day I dreamed that the oak pegs in my house were made of leeks, and one whole wall was built entirely of elephants. One of the elephants' legs cracked and broke, and the whole lot went tumbling down the hill, whereupon they turned into men and walked away.
How on earth am I going to repair that wall now?

In the meantime I wonder if Zebra would like some inspiration for the beams on her house? Maybe a slightly architectural elephant? this piece would originally have been on a Japanese temple roof .

That would be interesting but for that you need an app. To have apps you need a thing that does apps. I only have the speaky-texty variety. It's bad enough texting with these hooves, never mind touch screens.

Sorry, I was in Singapore. Have returned to my concrete skybox.

No worries about the temple Feltwell, I am sure it was either being re roofed, or more likely, completely rebuilt in a newer shinier version. The most famous example of that is Ise Shrine, which is re done very beautifully every 20 years, and has been for the last however many centuries. Theory being that it is both ancient and new.

Incidentally we also have some Chinese architectural elephants, but they are much more just carvings that would have been on a house. Sadly I fear that what they came from was not being rebuilt!

Had a dream last night that I was trying to fix guttering onto a dog kennel. It was terribly intricate, trying to work out the falls, whether I should follow the roof line or keep it all on one level, and what size guttering to use on such a small building. Anyone with any experience?

Well as zebras usually eat grass, and the farmer was too busy to deliver just before Christmas, I was given the number by some helpful local youngsters of their friend who they said deals in grass......... oh hang on a minute! You don't think.........

Funny that, I had a strange dream last night-- I dreamt that I was viewing a property, it had many original Georgian features and nice sized rooms, but all the walls and floorboards were painted in a very soft, almost white but somewhat pale green colour giving a kind of waxed effect. Most odd!

If anyone knows how to sort out the guttering on my hen house I'd be very grateful...
But I'm very jealous of these dreams. All I seem to dream about is that I'm in a little surburban house in a city, but it feels very wrong, and I don't know why I'm not in Beacon Cottage, that's had so much work and love lavished on it. I wake up in a proper panic. I hope it isn't a premonition. Probably the result of cherry brandy mixed with Tramadol and anti histamines.

Had a dream last night that a man climbed up into a tree, followed by an oran-utang, followed by a penguin. (Didn't know penguins could climb trees). They all came back down again, followed by a horde of people who'd all been in a hole in the tree. Turned out the man was Bill Bailey, and all the people and animals followed him off down the road.
