Having exhausted my supply of opaque drip candle bulbs for our chandelier I turned to http://www.lyco.co.uk, posted on here sometime ago. After getting hopelessly lost we arrived at their warehouse in Bletchley, only to be told, 'no we do not have a showroom, but do come in and we will see if we can help you find the right bulbs.' We were served coffee and a selection of yummy bite sized pastries whilst awaiting a selection of bulbs to be demonstrated. We came away happy with a natty device: G9 Halogen Saver. This involves an appropriate adaptor base--- bayonet or screw etc, insert the G9 capsule then select a cover to suite--- in my case the soft tone /opaque drip candle cover. All you need to replace is the G9 capsule. These can be found on p.21 of their catalogue. Simples --- gives a lovely soft light too! Covers in all shapes and sizes.Came away with a dozen 8 for one chandelier and 4 for another. Next stop same method for the lamps then I won't have a stupid bit of glass bulb sticking out of the top of the lampshade!!!
