Ceiling paper

I have recently bought a late Victorian deatched villa which has a variety of different ceiling papers throughout the house.

We are not sure if they are original?

We intend to keep them, however the 2 front bedroom bay windows have had roof leaks in the past and the ceiling paper has been removed. We would really like to replace the missing sections with matching paper, but have not been able to find any suppliers of ceiling paper on the net.

Does anybody know of any companies that specialise in supplying period ceiling paper? or are there any companies that can match/reproduce an existing paper?

Any contacts would be great.

I'm afraid I don't know of any suppliers myself (have you tried the directory on this site?) But I would love to see a pic or two if you have them

Is the paper printed, or embossed and painted (like Anaglypta or Lincrusta)?

You're wise to retain the ceiling paper. Papering a ceiling is/was a widespread technique for hiding cracks!
