As for the "Pair of Cast-Iron Fleur de Lys Door Hinge Fronts", I would almost be prepared to pay £14.99 to buy them, in order to smash them into a squillion pieces. I can't stand the things. :evil:

I wouldn't buy them myself,they wouldn't suit my house. Painting my front door black and adding a brass Maltese cross door knocker is about as Goth as I get these days..but hey if someone wants Goth,why not ? There are a couple of houses in Folkestone with Gothic towers,very Munsters

if you buy your Klingstrip from Brewers and need a lot of the stuff..and the manager is nice.. you might get a trade discount Sales asst suggested it to us In fact we were painting a wall and needed more paint and one of the guys dropped it off for us on his way home

I may be wrong but I thought it was only available online, direct from Strippers of Sudbury.

I've not used Klingstrip as such, but over the years have got through large quantities of something similar called Peelaway which I've bought from trade decorators' suppliers here in Norwich and down in Lunnon. Never seen it in places like B&Q or Thorns, though.

It's def called Klingstrip and it def came Brewers but as we bought a pile of it, I haven't tried to buy any lately. Brewers is primarily for Trade rather than DIY though. I think Klingstrip comes from the netherlands actually..
