That's a stunt worthy of cirque du soleil. Can you post the earlier picture of you doing the high wire act on the cable running to the corner of the building, the one taken right before you dived through the opening?

You've highlighted the evolutionary limitations of your house quite nicely. It's been sat there for about 300 years waiting for it's prey to come close enough to it's mouth - not only did it put it's mouth in an unlikely place, but it will only eat stripey female electricians.

All of which looks to be the reason why it's plans for world domination haven't made much progress so far. Particularly before the 20th century, when electricicians of any persuasion - let alone stripey female ones - were very hard to come by, especially at the top of a wall in St Albans.

As you rightly point out this particular species of the Domus Carnivorosa family has a very long lifespan, however it is known that at some point ( thought to be in the Limecreataceous Period ) there was an offshoot from a common ancestor that eventually gave rise to the much faster growing Zebrasus Sapiens Tinctura.
