It seems to be doing pretty well even over winter.

A Gazania I think. Photographed recently? They're usually borderline hardy, so its done well to still be alive if the photo is recent.

I agree, definitely looks like a gazania, sometimes known as the Treasure Flower. It's a South African daisy, normally grown as summer bedding, but I think some varieties are tough enough to withstand a mild British winter.

Agreed. We have had some and they flower during the daylight and then close up again. Very colourful but always die off over winter so they must be well sheltered.
