Hi all
Forgive me of some of you are already familiar with this but a well known social media platform I shall call FB very kindly recommended to me a community page I might like to join the other day called 'Building with Lime - Mortars, plasters & Renders'
Here's a link:
Here's the blurb:
Public group for Trade and DIY supporters of building with lime and all relevant aspects of heritage, conservation and eco-build construction and materials for preparation, application and aftercare tips, mixes, aggregates, additives, history, stories, projects and life in the business
I've not examined it too hard as yet but it seems to be 'alive' and has 10.8K members. There also seemed to be plenty of lime based tradesmen / plasterers / enthusiasts contributing and willing to dish out advice. Seeing as lime is such a current topic on this forum for myself, current members and especially new members I thought it worth highlighting on the forum. And also seeing as professional lime plasterers are posting on there, and bearing in mind how easy FB makes it to find out which part of the country someone is located, I thought it might make it easier for those members desperate for lime practitioner to track one down and contact them via FB.
Cheers
