Breathable IWI and paint compatibility

Scenario:

1) Breathable IWI to be applied to 2 externally facing walls in each of the living rooms will require breathable paints. What happens to the remaining 2 walls that will not be having IWI applied in terms of paint work, I'm assuming standard paints can be applied to the non IWI walls. This will probably pose a challenge as its going to be difficult to get precise colour match between the 2 sets of walls.
How would you overcome this scenario?

2) If for example some of the rooms of the house are getting IWI whilst others are not, is there an inherent risk of causing issue to the externally facing walls of the property that are not getting IWI?

Regarding your first point: colour match is pretty achievable these days but texture/reflective properties will be different. Why wouldn't you simply use the breathable paint on the other walls too?
Admittedly the breathable will probably cost a little more, but less than getting a match you're not happy with and having to re-do it!

If a cost issue consider looking at Tikurilla Optiva Colour. They provide an SD value on the website and prices are much more reasonable than many of the specialist breathable paints.

As above, the solution is surely to just use the same paint.

I think I was being dense , didn't realise breathable paints are compatible on non insulatued gypsum skimmed wall finishes.

Ah well, that make life a bit easier

I'd still do a test for colour match between the different surfaces first.
I used a reddish clay paint on the lime plastered walls of our hallway and on the plasterboard ceiling of an adjoining room, the results were quite different and required quite a bit of tweaking to get the plasterboard to the same colour as the lime plaster.
I have found this on a number of occasions.
However you can add what you like to the claypaint that is destined for the 'modern' finish as it doesn't need to keep it's breathable qualities.
