Hi, I'm hoping there are (as usual!) some knowledgable folks out there....
We have a stone wall boundary to our property.Up till now this hasn't been a problem between us and the neighbours...when it needed repointing we just got on with it and each repointed their own side. Unfortunately the next door property has now been sold to a property developer. We have looked in to his 'history' and it would appear that he is potentially, a threat, with pulling down walls and erecting cheap wooden fencing at a lesser height as the lesser of his sins!. Is there any way that we can claim ownership of the wall? It is apparently not owned by either of us,i.e. it is not claimed on either of the deeds. We would like to own the wall and its up keep to continue to enjoy our privacy as the wall in places is approximately eight foot high...
Thank you for any help
