Hi
I am new to this site and looking for advice from anyone who has installed a boiler stove in their house to run the central heating & hot water. I am particularly interested in the Stratford range, especially the Eco boiler SEB20. We currently have an Aarrow Ecoburn 5 multifuel and are very pleased with it but wish to install a stove that will run all of the heating/hot water for our 3 bedroom cottage as our supposedly wonderful Vaillant combi condensor boiler has broken down for the umpteenth time (only 2 years old installed on the Warmfront scheme). On speaking with our local stove shop I was told not to bother with stoves with a thermostatic control as they make the fire burn too fast when you are out, then you come home to a stove that has gone out.
Any advice regarding the above would be greatly appreciated. We will need to run 7 large radiators and heat enough hot water to run the odd bath as we have electric showers installed.
Kind regards
Charlotte.
