Boards in a bathroom

Waxing is a great idea to help with the water issue. I am relieved to hear it has not been a problem having boards in the bathroom as we have had a lot of funny looks when we mention it.
Did you use a particular wax for this?

I used a linseed oil wax on the floorboards in our bathroom. I did this after applying a caisin based sealant, followed by a light sanding to smooth out the raised grain the the caisin brought out.

Worked a treat and looks - and smells - great.
