Blue plaques

Does anyone know the rules about these. As far as I know our town has three of them. One hasn't been moved, one has been moved to an infrequently used side alley ( a request that it be reinstated has been ignored) and the third (on a private property) has been taken down.

The EH Blue Plaque scheme is only for London.

If the ones mentioned aren't in the capital, they may have been part of some local scheme.

Try asking the local Civic Trust.
