Just begining to prepare another fireplace for yet another wood burner and there were a couple of loose firebricks which come out. The original brick work creates a nice square opening and the fire bricks were used to seal up the opening' anyone have any idea what may have been in the opening. Possibly a very small range or brean oven maybe?
