A transformation. The disappearance of that awful chimney stack is no loss. And I love the little catslides in the roof.

But - horrors - what happened to the deep-fried Mars bar shop?

Don't you mean the international cuisine al fresco eatery?

Presumably moved out to be something bigger and better elsewhere.

Wow! What a building!

Some fabulous panelling on page 3 - not sure if it's genuine burr wood or faux. And is that real marquetry on the fireplace wall on page 2?

I don't know - suspect it's 'just' paint (this is Scotland...) but it's hard to tell.
