English Heritage, in it's infinite wisdom, gave Listed Buildings Consent, for the demoltion of the chimneys of Battersea Power Station.

What to know something funny?....... My Dad used to work there many moons ago - he'd turn in his grave if he saw it now - Why can't people just leave things alone!

How short sighted of them, why dont they cap them (fit grills for air flow of course) than thay could put a statue on the top of some past noble or perhaps something like tha angel of the north.
