Happy New Year! I would like to renovate an old bathroom in 2025.
I have a 60's upstairs bathroom with exposed pipes and solid walls. Very old house. The floor is modern wood but I do not want to move the pipes. T
Plan A - replace the cast iron bath (with shower over) with an enclosed walk-in shower but the pipes are in the way. I have found a product to go under the tray and adjust it up to 190mm (my pipes are 150mm). It looks like a spider with spokes from the center and is manufactured by a reputable firm. The tray will be either 700 x 1000 (or 1200). I have the headroom so that's not a problem. Has anyone done something like this?
Plan B - a new bath. I do have a second bathroom that has a bath.
Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.
