bath taps

Hello, I've just gained an edwardian low slipper bath . The taps need replacement, but they come out of the back(foot end) wall of the bath - not at the top, any help on who can supply these - ideally I'd love a 'mixer shower head' type but right now would settle for any! many thanks,Deb

I suggest you hunt around your local architectural reclamation yards. Many of them have huge collections of antique taps. Look in your Yellow Pages - you should find several of them local to you.

They are called globe taps. When I had my bath restored I had the holes for these filled in and holes created on the roll of the bath so i ccould have a mixer style taps.
