After a break of a few months I have returned to the problem of how to paint my cornice using full Victorian polychromy.
Wall is red therefore ceiling is pale green as Victorians usually call for the ceiling to be the complementary of the walls. Cornice could just be shades of red and green with some areas of a neutral off-white but I am trying to add two more colours: pale violet and yellow.
