Hi. Unfortunately one of our upstairs internal walls is rendered in randomly rippled Artex. It's pretty awful and was likely done in the late 80's when the house was 'renovated'! The wall in question is openly timber framed with the Artex attached to the original wattle and daub (I believe it may have been one of the original external walls in an earlier life). The other side of the wall (stairway) is original but I would like to remove the Artex and consolidate the wattle and daub. Should I be concerned with asbestos in the Artex before I use a poultice type remover? If so, does anyone know any reputable company that I can send a sample to?
Thanks
