Architecture of Herbert L. North at Llanfairfechan

I don't know if anyone else managed to catch Hidden Histories tonight but it a a really good section on Herbert North. He was an assistant to Edwin Lutyens and produced a North-Wales take on Arts & Crafts with incredible rooflines.

Sadly, there don't seem to be any books on his work, so it looks like a trip to North Wales with a camera is the order of the day to get a set of decent pictures

He does crop up in other books about the Arts and Crafts - there's about half a chapter on him in Michael Drury's "Wandering Architects", and quite a bit in the new Gwynedd Pevsner. A too-little-known architect though.
