Anyone need stairs?

Probably not the right place to mention this but I wondered if anyone has a need for a new set of stairs.
I have “gained” an unwanted set from my daughter’s boyfriend who is a builder and keeps some of his materials in my yard.
These are not antique or period in any way and are not wide enough for my own use but I hate to scrap them in case they may be of some interest to anyone.
Located 8 miles north of Derby, these are virtually free for collection but I wouldn't refuse a small donation to my house renovation fund.

Let me know if you might be interested and I’ll get the details and measurements to you otherwise it will be on the log burner shortly.

In a couple of months - ok maybe at the end of the year, this set of stairs will be available in Cornwall if anybody wants them. They are rather steep and not the most beautiful ever but might be useful to somebody somewhere.

Which tourist brochure have you been reading? It might not get particularly cold in Cornwall during the winter but we don't seem to get much sun either during the summer. We certainly get the rain though. We are about 5 mins from the beach so its great to be able to get down there with the dogs.

The house is in a very sheltered spot so wind wasn't really a problem and there was nothing to get wet so it was left for a day like it is the picture. It was then covered up.

The wall is now about half rebuilt so its starting to look like progress is being made.

If my memory serves (which due to my Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster consumption it may not) Traal is somewhere other than Ursa Minor. The exact location escapes me but Ursa Minor is the home to various galactic publishing and media corporations such as the H2G2 office. Must get back there one day. Ursa Minor Beta has some very nice shoreline, especially as it is always Saturday afternoon right before the beach bar closes.

If you do find out where Traal is, remember to wrap your towel around your head.
