Any tile recommendations?

Hi, I've been looking for victorian tiles for my hallway and would prefer old ones but not easy to get hold of.

Has anyone used any from a company called Original Features and if so are you pleased with them?

There's a fair amount of reclaimed ones for sale on EBay. They are reclaimed but from abroad.

Any recommendations or recommendations would be gratefully received.

I have no experience of that company, but a word of warning. I have seen a few floor tile jobs that have been done in a Victorian or Edwardian style, using geometric tiles, but laid like a modern floor with 3mm gaps between the tiles which are then grouted with a dark grout. I have never seen an original floor like this, original floors have tiles laid as closely as possible, using something very runny for grout, I have read pure cement slurry. The floors look much better when the tiles are laid butting up to each other so check that the tiles have square edges and not chamfered or rounded edges.

Craven Dunhill still make floor tiles in the original style, but they are expensive.
