Very good PP, you are once again, yet again, putting me to shame with your photos of completeness. Feltwell Towers continues in a state of "well this room is 90% done" as another more urgent job bounces to the top of the pile.
Are the sash weights on the floor awaiting a window, or just there as coshes to threaten the kids with if they misbehave?
Threatening to cosh the minors with a sash weight is a little too Victorian even for my tastes! There is a half finished sash window hiding in plain sight just on the right of the picture. I need to wait for the weather to improve before I remove and restore the sashes, or at least that is my excuse.
Thanks for noticing the off white wood. It looks really good with a colour, not so much with an all white room. I painted downstairs with a "Little Green" paint called "White Lead (74)", which is meant to be the colour of white lead paint, but I found out from the dulux shop that it is exactly the same as a shade called "Vanilla mist 4". As dulux is easier to use and more available, I'm using that now.
