Tyneside Quayside warehouses... Newburn Church... last weekend a Victorian school building at Wideopen...and many, many more throughout the land, oddly enough often when a developer wants planning permission for the land it stands on, although at other times it's just plain old fashioned vandalism.

That was part of my old school... (the Boys' and girls' grammars were amalgamated whilst I was there, but I lived 5 mins walk away from that building and used to like it even as a kid .

Remarkable achievement. Except for the thickness of the thatch, you'd never know from the external appearance.

I wonder what difference it made internally.

This used to be a lovely old pub - bar could hold half a dozen, big room could host a wedding party - pipes and all - then it all burned down and now it is a big roomed open plan pub - Boring :-(
