hi all. as an owner of a draughty period farmhouse, my fiance wishes to add a cooker, not an ordinary cooker but a range of the aga style,( to add warmth and style+ she knows how to cook on one, at least thats more than i do!!) we have gas fuel and have to have a powered flue as we have no chimney or outside wall. its use will be for cooking only as a new heating system is being installed.we are normally out during the day but in all weekends..tending the the restoration and the farm. Does anyone have any opinions? electric or gas? running costs, we believe about £12 a week, hopefully the heating will never have to come on as we have a small house and the obligatory multifuel burner and thick socks and overcoats...i'll be attending a heat store course for the servicing and installation side..many thanks i await the responses...
