Just thought some of you might be interested in reading this BBC article. Sounds great but £50 sqm!

Is there a better way to insulate our draughty homes?

Aerogel is described as the most effective insulating material known to science, so why isn't it used more?

We are thinking to use it in places where insulating with woodfibre would be too difficult (narrow spaces. Also around the steel beam where it touches the solid wall. It is very expensive..
