Advice re contractors for renovation - W Somerset

Looking for contractors to renovate largish victorian property within Exmoor national park, together with small extension to kitchen - experiencing great difficulty sourcing tradespeople. Particularly interested in medium sized family owned general building firms with several trades on board, that can do most of the work without subcontracting. Minehead area, can anyone recommend a source of reliable advice/contacts etc. Not a listed building but does require sympathetic renovation - eg lime render etc. Any pointers would be very welcome, thanks.

I've had some lime rendering and limewashing done by a chap called Jeremy Lile - he's based in Bridgwater I think. I think he used to work for St Blaise too.

It's early days yet to see how the render has held up - but he certainly is a lovely chap. One of those that turns up early, cracks on all day, makes an effort to keep the mess down, doesn't have radio 1 blaring out - and what I thought was quite a reasonable price too. I'll pm you witha number.

I also know of a terrific stonemason & general builder in Wells - might be a bit too far away though.
