Hi there,
This is a slightly different topic in regards to period properties but I'm just in need of some advice for the kind of routes I could take!
I am currently location scouting for a feature film, and am looking for an 18th century (or older) house; ideally with period interior.
As you can imagine, it's quite hard to find a period house that isn't too far out from London and yet is still rural and maintaining beautiful period architecture and interior. Location agencies often charge a huge amount, but I understand that there are some property developers who work on making houses period style before putting them on the market, or some people may just be in the process of styling up their own house. (Just to clarify, we would still pay daily rates-we're not expecting to find anything for free.)
I wanted to know if there are any period property developers anyone may know of and if so, where could I find them to get in contact?
Ideally, these developers would be based within the M25, possibly towards East London or within the LB of Redbridge-otherwise if they are based further up the map, then that is fine too, as long as it wouldn't take more than an hour and a half by car from the Redbridge area.
A huge thanks to any guidance I could get on this.
