I've been unable to concentrate all day, and hope that someone here can help with a particular problem.
My wife has been acting a little strangely recently. Buying expensive clothes, taking more time to get ready for work etc. Three times last month she hurriedly put down the phone as soon as I came into the room. She has also started staying late at work, claiming that there are a lot more meetings at this time of year.
She usually gets the bus home, but when she wasn't back at the usual time yesterday I went out to see if I could find her. A car came past our drive, with what looked like her in the passenger seat, so I crouched behind the front wall, which I've raked out ready for repointing, and watched. The car stopped just down the road, and she got out, but seemed to take a very long time to thank the driver for the lift.
Anyway, my question is this - is lime hydrate best, or should the wall be repointed with a hydraulic mix to protect against the damp from the pavement?
