Advertisement of period property situated in Europe

Hi There
Thanks for adding me to this forum.

I am a Brit living in Denmark and have been browsing the Period property website
I cant see it but I have to ask, Is there a facility or section on your website for period property that is for sale in mainland Europe?

I currently live in Denmark and live in a beamed thatched cottage which has been totally renovated with an asking price of about £150,000

Yes- property is dirt cheap over this side of the water.

Anyway it would be great if somebody could point me in the right direction

Hi Tom and welcome to the Discussion Forum on the Period Property UK website.
In answer to your question - No, there is not a section on this website for properties for sale outside the UK.
We try to keep the content of the site focussed on property in the UK (although we sometimes bend this rule to include our neighbours in the Republic of Ireland).
However as regards the maintenance of older houses we recognise that building techniques used on older houses may be similar in places beyond our shores and so the discussions sometimes talk about those techniques and materials.

Its a lovely looking thatched cottage. Some interesting looking features at the apex of the thatched roof too.

I like the boarded ceilings. And that small brick arch in the kitchen is a nice touch, exposed brickwork in kitchens usually looks naff.
Yes, an unusual - to us - way of holding down the ridge.
