Hi all,
As you may have seen from previous posts I am doing some renovation to my property dated around 1872, we are looking at painting the front exterior of the property Barley White, keeping the stone work around the windows white, but we are deliberation as to whether we should accentuate the stonework mouldings (see images) in a different colour.

I was wondering if anyone knows how the stone work around the windows would have been painted, did they accentuate the brick work mouldings, if so would it have been a bright colour like a red or more subtle colour.
I am looking at going to my local main library and seeing if there are any archives of buildings of my road, to see if I can get an idea, but would like to hear form this forum, as the feedback I get is very useful.
Any images of similar properties and how they have been painted, whether it has been the original or a contemporary look.
Thanks again to this forum
