Grade 2 listed - 4 floors

Hi, my partner and myself are looking to buy a grade 2 listed building, we recently looked at it and floor 1, 2 and 3 found to be on a concrete construction (possibly though thought floor 1 might be) the building has not been lived in for 2 years and was quite damp, i was not aware buildings of this age could have concrete floors, is this normal and are there things you should be careful of? the only refence i could find was of a building that had beams with wide lafts then a lime mixture poured on to similar to the older type of plastering.

Highly unlikely that they are concrete above ground, sounds like you might have retained limeash / gypsum floors. Which are very rare and well worth conserving…

Some more info, location and images of the property and floors would be very useful.

As @Kearn says, more information would be useful. If all three of these floors are on the ground level than there is every possibility that they could be some form of concrete - there are several types and not all of them would be bad for the house. If though, they are on upper storeys of the property then that would be very unusual, rare and would be well worth preserving.
