Has anyone any experience of using claypaint on wood? Specifically new skirting and architraves.
I'm using claypaint on lime-plastered walls (no problem) and want the skirting and arcitrave to be the same colour. I appreciate it wouldn't be as durable as a satin wood paint, especially an oil-based one, but I don't really know what 'less durable' would mean in practice, hence the question.
I suppose I could just try it and see how it lasts. Would it be an easy option to paint over the claypaint with a satin wood paint if the claypaint turns out to be to 'soft'.
